Yay...

My Sakura finally eats superworms.

Known by many to be very stubborn, this fella finally gave in and started eating superworms.

Life will be much easier moving forward.

This is definitely my toplist of a scavenger. Its pretty, its greedy, and it keeps the tank very very clean.

We call them feifeng (飞凤）, actual name is Flagtail Prochidillus.

We normally buy them skinny and scrawny at the fish shop, and when it goes into the tank, it will start cleaning up the glass surfaces, the rubber air tubes. They even pick on the food that has been filtered and stuck on the sponge filter.

In no time, this fella will grow bulky and colours will develop nicely.

Normally you either keep one or you keep a few (like 5 or 6 of them) if not they get territorial. Tiny ones tends to be very weak and gets spooked easily, needs to be fed on algae wafers to a certain size, and they will become very very useful.

Last Saturday, a good friend of mine bought me over look at Sakura rays at the farm.... i was initially hesitant in getting it.... but after studying the ray for a while.... I decided to get it,

Sakuras are not exactly an easy ray to keep. They are very picky about food and they get stressed easily. Stubborn fish they are. They could even starve themselves to death. These rays are a real beauty, especially when they are grown up.

Currently on tubifex worms, trying to convert them to squids, and finally superworms.

So here it starts.....

I have been in this hobby for the longest time..... Like many others, I thought I share my hobby over here.

In this Digital Era... the fish hobby like many other pet hobbies is on the decline. There are huge benefits in having pets at home. This is even more so when we are staying in a typical pressure cooker  society.

I do not keep dogs or cats, but fish.... like benefits are similar....
